Nicole BraleyThe Ally Council
I am a well-rounded and experienced business leader who drives critical segmented market and business strategies for growth and ‘sees around corners’. In 2018, I joined Wood Mackenzie as the VP Marketing Americas. Prior to that, in 2015, I joined Vision Source, the largest optical retailer and doctor alliance in the U.S and critical division in Essilor (EI.PA), a ~$27 billion market cap, optical global healthcare company.
As the Senior Director, Strategic Marketing, I led the $250M Essilor product growth initiative, the practice of data-driven B2B marketing, pricing campaigns, marketing communications, and strongly support B2B/2C marketing and advertising initiatives. Results driven and customer obsessed, I lean on data and market intelligence – as well as my gut – in making business decisions and reach efficiency through constructing more strategic operations.Prior to Essilor – Vision Source, as the Global Strategic Marketing Manager at Weatherford (NYSE: WFT), I was responsible for the global marketing, business development, offering and product go-to-market, and marketing communications functions for the consulting and integrated services business start-up.
Prior to Weatherford, I led the corporate market intelligence function for the global, seismic services and technology company, ION Geophysical (NYSE: IO). As Director, Market Intelligence, I led successful application of the domestic and international market intelligence critical to strategic decisions points for the Company by assessing markets and opportunities to maximize market (or regional) penetration.
In 2015, I was elected, for a two-year term, Board Member of MLS Alumni Board at Rice University and in 2017 I was accepted to Forbes Communications Council. I am a professional member of several organizations and former Program Manager (2009-12) of the Houston Organization Development Network. I enjoy speaking at a variety of external events and forums.
