Do not quit sign

I Just Won’t Quit. That’s it.

Have you ever had a really bad day at work? And no, I don’t mean some one thing just went horribly wrong.

I’m talking about a difficult, beat down, ask yourself when did Murphy become your shadow (as in Murphy’s Law), kind of day.

Deadline of deadlines and nothing coming together and some unhappy customers.

All of which you’ve had a hand in creating.

Well that was my Wednesday.

As I took a breath in the parking lot, this Thursday morning, I thought this is a new day with new opportunities.

Yesterday is gone and today is a present.

So, game plan ready.  Check.

Look in control and confident.  Check.

Smile on.  Check.

First meeting at 9:00. Ready.  Check.

Now, 15 hours later …

I’m so glad I got out of bed when that alarm went off.

I am so proud that I just took-on the day head on.

My last meeting ended this evening at 6:15 pm.

With pure determination and strong will, I got through the day.

And had some wins.

Oh I’m sure I will have more bad “Wednesdays” ahead.

That’s just living, whether its personal or professional challenges.

I’m posting this as a reminder, that I’ve made it through today, and will again in the future.

There is just no other way.  I can’t quit.

I won’t quit.

Life is what you make it.

By the time you read this, it will be a new day.  Happy Friday!
